My son has a rare genetic disorder called SYNGAP1-Related Disorder and Cerebral Palsy. He cannot walk without a walker and SMO ankle braces. These braces make it difficult to find shoes that fit him well and allow him to walk without tripping all over himself. We tried the kids sprout shoes and kids spruce boots and because of the wide toe box, the fact that they’re lightweight, and have long velcro, we don’t have to size up so much to fit the braces. This means he walks easier and trips less. These shoes have been a game changer for us!
