The fit is very tight at the mid-foot area and loose at the ankle area. As you can see in the images, it is hard to tie the front 2 eyelets. It gets very tight if I tie those eyelets also.
The toe box is reasonably wide. But because the front of the shoe is not plain and simple with many pieces coming together, that area also gets bent a lot. That area may wear out first.
The vertical volume at the toe box is low. The original in-sole is thick. I had to remove that in-sole and put a thinner 3mm in-sole to get more vertical volume. Then there will be more ground feel.
For the price it is not too bad and the craftsmanship seems to be good. Time will tell about the durability.
I gave 3 stars mainly due to the above issues.
I have MD. I need shoes that have no heel and are wide. Since wearing these shoes I can actually walk in Grocery Stores. I can stand in one place without staggering to one side, the other. I haven’t tripped myself, or fallen since I started wearing these shoes. I would highly recommend these to anyone suffering from foot problems relating to MD, MS, or any other disease the affects balance and coordination. If I had the money I would buy another pair. Sadly, I don’t, but I will continue to buy these shoes as the ones I’m wearing wear out. BEST SHOES EVER!
I love my new work shoes! I work as a receptionist at a veterinary clinic. They are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever had. I’ve been doing this job for 18+ years and have tried many shoes. My feet are never sore or tired when I go home now after a 12 hour day on the job. Thank you. I can’t wait to get my next pair and many more!
I never just ordered random shoes online even shoe brands. I know tend to fit weird or have some kind of problem when I order them online, but I took a chance on these and I’m glad I did and they’re very comfortable. I like them more than I even thought I would definitely gonna be ordering another pair.
Second pair of Hobibear! I like the wide toe design but for my arches, inserting arch support helps. I had an issue with my order and customer service took care of it expeditiously.
Love these shoes so much! They are so adorable to me lol. Wish I would have found them sooner. So comfortable and i can wear them all day without my feet hurting. Highly recommended fir those suffering with bunions! Definitely will be purchasing more soon!
Shoes came as advertised and shipped fairly quick coming from China. I ordered size 12, they are a little big, but thicker socks seam to help. They didn't have 11.5(the size I needed according to the size chart)in stock so I just went with size 12 which is what I normally wear. I'm new to the barefoot shoe world, so I'm still getting used to them. These are the first shoes in a long time that actually fit my feet and don't cramp my toes. I don't think I'd call these winter shoes. They're not very thick material or super insulated. The one thing I can't stand though, the noise they make while you're walking. If that doesn't go away after a while I'm not going to wear these.
Do you like to shoot so far just got my second pair first pair I’ve been working in. I’m a carpenter and they’re very comfortable and keep my feet very warm.
My HOBIBEAR YEW are so awesome . I haven't been able to wear shoes 👟 , socks , or boots 🥾 in 35 years . I have big & very very Extremely extremely extra wide width feet 🦶 with very very chubby fat wide toes that are Evenly straight across instead of being rounded off at a 45° Degrees angle shape like footwear are made but my HOBIBEAR YEW are working out extremely well for me & my extremely extremely extra wide width feet 🦶 with my chubby fat wide toes that I have . I can't believe how my chubby fat wide toes have so much space in them . THANKS YOU SO MUCH HOBIBEAR for changing my life because it's could only wear flip flops 🩴 until now because of how my toes are Evenly straight across . Your toes box area has so much space for my chubby fat wide toes that I have & my toes are so happy in them & i am so happy too because my toes being Evenly straight across are not getting crush & hurting me because of the toes box area being narrow . I love ❤️ my HOBIBEAR YEW . I have 6 boys & a 8 years old Granddaughter & a 3 years old Grandson & all 8 of them have very wide feet 🦶 just like me too & i will be buying all 8 of them a pair of these shoes 👟 because all 9 of us was hating shoes 👟 , socks , & boots 🥾 because they crush & hurt our feet 🦶 & toes in the toes box area because of being crushed because of having very extremely wide feet 🦶 . I will be recommending HOBIBEAR FOOTWEAR to anybody who have wide feet 🦶 . I really really love ❤️ how you have footwear in big sizes to for somebody like me with a SZ15/EU48 .
I usually buy a girls size 5 because they are wider. These size 6 Hobibear fit me perfectly !! I have never ordered shoes on line and I am so glad I did ! I now have 4 pairs !!
Very comfortable and they slip on so easily. Size is true and they have good traction even for the Canadian ice and snow. I am quite impressed to be honest, especially for the price. Thank you!
These shoes are perfect for my husband. He wears a size 10 4E in shoes and it was hard to find a barefoot shoe for extra wide feet. The size 11 fits perfectly. I also had some great help figuring out his size via email. Prompt customer service responses. He looks forward to trying other styles.
I bought them for work and they're great. They're so roomy that I no longer have foot pain + they've been keeping my feet warm and dry during the winter. They're a little salty right now, but they clean up easily. I'm definitely going to buy another pair for summer.
